How God uses AIO. Well for me at least.

Have you ever listened to an AIO episode, then realized they’re addressing a topic that you’re struggling with. For example, I was having a hard time sitting down, praying and reading my Bible. Basically, I wasn’t spending time with God. So one day I was scrolling through the AIO radio on my computer. For those who don’t know, Whit’s End (the official AIO site). Has an online radio page where you can listen to AIO online. So I was scrolling through, looking for an AIO episode to listen to. I ended up listening to Between You and Me. Now for people who don’t know what this episode is about, here is the summary.
Connie wonders if she's spending too much time with Robert Mitchell. Then he gets an offer from the FBI...to move to Virginia.
Now that the only reason I listened to this episode was because it was an episode I hadn’t heard in a while and was available on the radio. So I’m listening- doing my thing- totally oblivious to the topic/lesson of this episode. Then when the episode is nearing its end, you hear Whit has been ignoring Connie all day, demonstrating that Connie was doing the same thing to God by not spending time with him; exactly as I had been doing. It was like God sending me a message, through something I love, telling me to spend time with him. After the episode was over, I was thinking has this ever happened to me before? And several episodes came to my mind. And I believe this is one of the ways God works through AIO. Now here’s another example which has to do with AIO blog/websites. If you’re reading this you probably know that I have an AIO podcast, website, and blog. So I love to read other AIO blogs/websites, and I was checking up on some AIO blogs, reading through their posts. I stopped by at Just Another AIO Blog, created by CreativeThinker101, and he had a post about the episode The Virtual Kid: an episode about Alex Jefferson creating a Whit’s End site and spending more time on it than at the real Whit’s End. CreativeThinker101 then went on to say that he felt like Alex Jefferson in this episode- that he was going through the same thing. And I have to agree, same here. I was spending too much time on my website. Thus God sending me another message, telling me to cut back on all the time I was wasting on my website. God used two things I love, AIO and AIO Blogs, to send me a message. Like I said before, this is one way God uses AIO in my life. Perhaps God speaks to you through AIO, or something else you enjoy- whatever the case may be, always be ready to listen.
